2000- 2014: Neurovirology Society

Dr. Trujillo founded the Pan American Society of Neurovirology in 2000 as a non-profit organization to foster collaboration among scientists throughout the Americas, particularly in Latin America. The purpose of the society was to foster collaboration among scientists throughout the Americas, particularly in Latin America with an aim of understanding the impact of viral infections on the nervous system and finding solutions to eradicate them. Through Dr. Trujillo’s leadership, the society held several successful symposiums across the Americas.
